5 Awesome SEO Tips (and 3 Bonus Google Places SEO Tips)
SEO is one of those things that I’ve never really enjoyed doing. Did it A LOT back when I was doing purely article marketing. Sure, it’s a great source of traffic, but dang there’s got to be better alternatives! Either way, like I said, it’s still a valuable traffic strategy to include in your business and should not be overlooked. Because of that, here are 5 tips and tricks to SEO that I’ve learned over the years of doing it.
1. Quality Content
If you want you or your clients to be successful in SEO, then the content on the site must be HIGH quality, non keyword stuffed content. This is even more true since the Panda update of last year. Make sure the content is original as well. If your content is original and high quality then people will even give you natural backlinks by linking to your content.
2. Freshness
Is the site updated every day or every month? (I lack in this department.. 
) Google likes to see fresh, original content so if you can give that to them the better. By updating more frequently, you will also make Google check your site more often meaning quicker indexing.
Why Your New Year’s Resolution Will Fail
It’s that time of year again and guess what’s happening all over the world? People are making new years resolutions. There’s many reasons why people fail to follow through with them past a certain date or fail to even start them. Things such as setting vague goals, not doing your research first and jumping in head first, as well as trapping other people in your resolution are all problems.
First off, let’s not call it a “resolution.” Resolutions fail, while plans succeed. The difference between people who succeed and fail is that successful people make a PLAN on exactly how they are going to do it while people who fail don’t have a plan and are too vague such as “I want to get fit.” Good goal there bud. If you want to get fit, tell me how you are going to do so?
What I’ve been up to..
So as you can tell, I haven’t updated the blog in quite awhile and feel pretty bad for it. Well.. thing is, I’ve just been busy because I’ve been back in school and since it’s my senior year in high school, you know it can be pretty stressful. 
Anyway, I haven’t let that be a total excuse and am still working but I’m going to kick it up a notch since I’ve just been at it a little less than during the summer.
I told you guys in my last post that I was doing something secret and wanted to tell you guys of it now! The thing I’m doing is called “local search marketing” which is getting local businesses at the top of business Google listing for their local keywords. Here’s a picture..
I’m not dead!
I know it’s been awhile and I apologize, and no I haven’t quit on this site or anything. It’s just that I started a new business venture that will make me money now, guaranteed. I can’t be waiting around for this stuff to happen as I need to start getting a move on with my life. I don’t exactly want to reveal what I’m doing for awhile but let’s just say for ONE service I’m offering I can make anywhere around $800 a client plus continuity of $300 a month.
I’m surprised you don’t hear more people talking about this.. Work is so easy to do and getting the client is much easier as well!
Anyway guys, just wanted to keep you guys updated and to let you know that I NEVER quit. I will reveal my website and what I’m doing in the future, but for now..

One of the biggest problems I faced when starting to build my list, was that I had NO idea how to start! Well, I’m here to show you how I got started from absolutely zero subscribers. This will work even better if you have a list but it’s not required.
What I’m talking about is JV Giveaways. JV Giveaways are basically a huge joint venture between tons of people. They all send people to the site to sign up for other peoples gifts exchanging each others traffic. Sounds simple, but it works.

Wow, I’m so excited right now ..
I just had my first sale in 8 months! I’ve been running on low motivation lately BUT still pushing towards my goal no matter what and this sale really, really helps. Yesterday I made a sale for $52.02 for a fitness program I used to promote on a old site about to expire. I had no interest in promoting that site anymore or the product but I still made a sale off of it.
It has nothing to do with what I’m currently doing but it’s still a reward for something I did a while back. I can now take that money and invest it back into the new business and work towards way better paydays! Which is what I recommend every do when they make money online starting out..

when things get slow ..
.. don’t get down.
Hey all, recently my progress has slowed and my motivation has dwindled. I feel it’s partly because I haven’t made any monetary results yet. I have made plenty of “results” but not the kind that satisfy me. For example, I have had 15 avg visitors a day, and sit at 20 subs on my list .. but that just doesn’t suit me .. even though it should as every result should be celebrated as progress.
I’ve also had lots of other little bumps along the way, such as technical problems with my site and list, which got me down as well.
but .. I will never give up and you can count on that. I feel like this much needed blog post shall help me get back into the swing of things and start making some more progress to my ultimate goal. If you are feeling anything like me, then I urge to just push through the boring, little result stages as it WILL get better.
